“Let’s Go” is an effect using the concept of Lego figurines.

A cardboard Lego figure, without a head, rests on a small acrylic stand. The performer then shows a packet of 10 cards, each depicting the head (Lego- style) of a superhero, including super- villain. Some superheroes and villains featured are The Flash, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Mr Incredible, The Joker, and others.

The head cards are mixed up and one selected by a spectator. It is Captain America. The card is fitted at the top of the headless figure.

This looks strange with a superhero’s head and the body of what seems like a construction worker.

With a flick of his finger, the performer causes the body of the headless figure to change into the body of Captain America.

The performer says that he knew that Captain America would be the superhero chosen. He turns the entire figure around and the back of the figure shows the characteristic shield that Captain America carries on his back.

You receive everything necessary to perform “Let’s Go”. The cards are nicely printed and the cardboard body stands at 6 inches tall.

You also receive a link to a video tutorial where Gustavo Raley takes you through how to perform the effect. He offers you 2 different methods of forcing Captain America from the 10 superhero cards.

There is another version of Let’s Go! available. This features Superman instead of Captain America.

This is a fun and colourful effect and is suitable for both adults and children. It is also easy to perform. (Rated 5/5 stars)
